Dina is a talented massage therapist with knowledge of diverse strategies to help people in pain. When I come in, I move stiffly, with discomfort. When I leave, my muscles feel relaxed, and I move more fluidly. She gives me the gift of movement.

Skin Care & Massage Therapy

Here are the techniques I offer:

Swedish ~ Generally long, gliding strokes used mainly for relaxation, relief of muscular tension and improvement of circulation.

Deep Tissue ~ A group of massage techniques designed to access multiple layers of muscle and fascia to reduce tension and pain. can also enhance more efficient posture.

Myofascial Release ~ Upon locating an area of fascial tension, gentle pressure is applied in the direction of the restriction. This is done with no oils or creams. It’s very effective for relief of cervical pain, back pain, fibromyalgia, scoliosis, chronic pain and headaches.

Craniosacral ~ A gentle non-invasive method of evaluating and enhancing the function of a physiological body arrangement called the craniosacral system. It extends from the bones of the skull, face and mouth, down to the sacrum or tailbone.

Reiki ~ (pronounced Ray-key) Means universal energy or chi. The hands are placed on or just above the client’s body in order to activate healing energy within receptive points on the body. This is a very relaxing, quiet technique generally done through the clothing.

Raindrop Technique ~ Done with Young Living oils. Antimicrobial oils are used to reduce inflammation by killing the viral agents, thus bringing the body into structural and electrical alignment. The oils are dispensed like little drops of rain from the bottle about 6 inches above the back and are massaged thoroughly along the vertebrae. Heat packs are then placed on the back to further enhance penetration of the oils. The oils continue to work for the next 5-7 days.

Pre/Post Natal ~ Prenatally, specific techniques can reduce discomfort that comes with many changes the body goes through during and after pregnancy.
